The Steering Council is the highest governing authority of the Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBCM). It is responsible for ensuring the College’s strategic direction, accountability, and effective institutional functioning.
The Steering Council is composed of seven voting members:
Three members are appointed by the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation (MESTI), selected from individuals with a high public reputation and expertise in fields such as business and entrepreneurship.
Four members are elected by the IBCM Academic Council, including at least one representative from the international academic community and others from among the academic staff.
The composition of the Council reflects IBCM’s commitment to multi-ethnic representation and gender-inclusive governance. All members act independently, without representing personal, political, or institutional interests.
